FAQ

Is your pewter safe to drink from?

Yes. All our pewter is modern lead-free English pewter, fully food- and drink-safe.

How do I care for pewter?

Wash by hand in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Never put pewter in the dishwasher. Polished pewter can be buffed with a soft cloth; satin finishes need nothing at all.

Where is your pewter made?

Our pieces are made in Sheffield, England, by craftspeople specialising in traditional pewterware.

What is a quaich?

A quaich (pronounced 'quake') is a traditional Scottish two-handled friendship cup, often used at weddings and christenings.

How long will my order take?

We dispatch within 3 working days via Royal Mail; international delivery times vary by destination.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes. Engraving is available on every product for a flat fee of £6. On the product page, switch Engraving to 'Yes', then add up to three lines of text (25 characters each) and choose from four fonts: Helvetica, Times, Script or Roman.
