4" Quaich with Thistle

A thistle applied to the bowl of a four-inch quaich, standing proud of the surface. Raised work wears in a particular way — the high points brighten with dusting and handling while the recesses go darker, so the emblem gains definition over the years rather than losing it. English pewter, Sheffield-made.
